Expert Electrical Engineer BESS & PV – Italy

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Role Objective:

As part of the growth of our activities in Italy, we are looking for an Expert Engineer to strengthen our local team and contribute to the development of large-scale PV and BESS projects.

You will join a small and growing local team currently, working in close collaboration with Skyray’s international engineering teams across Europe.

The role combines electrical engineering and detailed design activities, project and construction support, and contribution to the progressive development of Skyray’s activities in Italy.

Your Main tasks

As an Expert Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in :

1. Electrical Studies & Detailed Design

• Participate in electrical studies and detailed design activities for utility-scale PV and BESS projects;

• Produce, coordinate or review electrical studies and design documentation during development and execution phases;

• Support MV/HV grid connection topics and regulatory compliance;

• Contribute to the preparation and validation of project technical documentation.

• Support technical activities related to permitting and execution phases in Italy.

 

2. Project & Construction Support

• Support tender activities and project development phases;

• Coordinate technical exchanges with EPC contractors, suppliers and partners;

• Participate occasionally in construction site visits, FAT/SAT and commissioning activities.

3. Collaboration & Activity Development

•Work closely with Skyray teams across Europe;

• Contribute to the progressive development of Skyray’s activities in Italy;

• Participate in knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of methods, processes and tools.

PROFILE

Education & Experience

  • • Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

    • 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering applied to renewable energy projects, with knowledge of applicable standards.

    • Strong understanding of electrical studies and execution design activities;

    • Knowledge of Italian electrical regulations and standards

Languages

  • Fluent Italian and professional English.
